ok. so i just got back.
first things first.
Beowulf @ the IMAX.
it was truly a very enjoyable experience.
IMAX experience = 8 out of 10
Beowulf movie = 8 out of 10
i however had trouble with the whole Imax thingy.
why?
cos my left eye is long sighted and my right eye is short sighted.
so throughout the whole movie. half my 3d vision was cacat'ed blurry.
(i think i have a lazy eye, but together they work just fine...)
so if you have vision problems. be sure to bring your glasses along with you to the IMAX theater.
now onto the movie.
angelina jolie is hawtness. but she looks MUCH better NON-CG.
but she has very shapely boobies and a oh so fine ass...
i wonder if those are her actual measurements...
story is pretty decent. it was an open ending... but it was sufficient.
i reckon.
and the monster/dragon fights are superb.
(ESPECIALLY IN 3D)
so yeah. if you have to watch it. go watch at imax. i reckon its just much better.
theres this one scene where all the arrows come flying at you.. and you JUST CANNOT HELP TRYING TO DODGE THEM!
lol.
the trailers were great too.. but they may have raised the bar too high for the imax experience.. cos its not like you have giant crocodiles dashing towards you face to face throughout the whole movie...
hehe
ok moving on.
the australian open!
now i have always favoured the underdog.
i respect federer, but ive always rooted for the other guy.
cos sport is just no fun without any competition. :)
so today is all about Jo-Wilfred Tsonga!
hes some 22yr old french guy.
and he raped nadal today! 6-2, 6-3, 6-2!
an absolute pleasure to watch!
the whole match nadal was stuck 2 meters BEHIND the base line!
and Tsonga would just dictate the match, chucking drop shots left right and centre to win it.
very enjoyable to watch due to his varied style of play!
no where near as refined as federer in terms of ball placement..
but damn hes good.
drop shots are just superb.
the final on sunday will be a fantastic match!
ok moving on.
Scott Adams (creator of dilbert) is a genius.
and his blog is great too.
he recently asked readers to submit random statements. then he passed them to a band.
who then made it into a song.
its actually pretty good!!!

band is some german band called rivo drei. but the vocalist is pretty good!
